  • 1 pound Shrimp large or jumbo, peeled and deveined (fresh or frozen, thawed)
  • 4-5 cloves Garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1 tablespoon Butter
  • Half a lemon Lemon for juice and a few wedges for serving
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Parsley chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes optional
  • Salt To taste
  • Black Pepper To taste

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Pat the peeled and deveined shrimp dry and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat until sizzling.
  3. Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes to the pan, sautéing for 30 seconds to 1 minute until fragrant; be careful not to burn the garlic.
  4. Add seasoned shrimp in a single layer and cook for 1-2 minutes per side until opaque and pink, cooking in batches if necessary.
  5. Remove the skillet from heat, squeeze lemon juice over the shrimp, and sprinkle with fresh chopped parsley; toss gently and serve immediately.

Notes

Serve this garlic shrimp with pasta, rice, or a side salad for a complete meal. Adjust the amount of red pepper flakes to your preferred spice level.
