Ingredients

For the Base (per flavor):
  • 0.5 cup 100% fruit juice
  • 2 tablespoons unflavored gelatin powder grass-fed recommended
  • 1-2 tablespoons natural sweetener honey, maple syrup, or stevia, to taste – optional
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Flavor 1: Strawberry Delight
  • 0.5 cup strawberry juice or blend fresh strawberries and strain
Flavor 2: Zesty Orange
  • 0.5 cup orange juice
Flavor 3: Tropical Mango
  • 0.5 cup mango juice or puree fresh mango and strain
Flavor 4: Berry Bliss
  • 0.5 cup mixed berry juice e.g., raspberry, blueberry, or a blend

Equipment

  • silicone gummy molds
  • small saucepan
  • small jug (optional)
  • dropper (optional)

Method

Preparation
  1. Lightly grease your silicone gummy molds with a tiny bit of coconut oil or cooking spray for easy release.
Bloom the Gelatin
  1. In a small saucepan, sprinkle 2 tablespoons of gelatin powder over 1/4 cup of the chosen fruit juice. Allow it to sit for 5-10 minutes until it forms a thick, lumpy gel.
Heat the Mixture
  1. Add the remaining 1/4 cup of fruit juice, natural sweetener (if using), and lemon juice to the bloomed gelatin in the saucepan. Heat on low, stirring constantly, until the gelatin is completely dissolved and the liquid is smooth, avoiding boiling.
Pour and Chill
  1. Carefully pour the warm liquid into your prepared silicone molds using a jug or dropper for precision. Transfer the molds to the refrigerator and chill for at least 2-3 hours until the gummies are firm.
Unmold and Enjoy
  1. Once set, gently pop the gummies out of their molds. Repeat the process for each desired flavor.

Notes

For best results, allow enough time for the gelatin to properly bloom. Do not overheat the mixture, as boiling can weaken the gelatin's setting power. Experiment with different fruit juice combinations for a variety of flavors.
