  • 1 tablespoon olive oil if browning in a non-stick pan isn't enough
  • 1 diced jalapeño for spice
  • Pinch red pepper flakes for extra kick

  1. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef, breaking it up as it cooks.
  2. Add garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, diced jalapeño, and red pepper flakes, cooking until the beef is fully browned.
  3. Drain excess grease, then return the skillet to low heat.
  4. Sprinkle cheese over the beef, cover, and let melt for 2-3 minutes until gooey. Serve immediately.

Notes

For a milder version, reduce or omit the jalapeño and red pepper flakes. This dish pairs well with a side of rice or a simple green salad for a complete meal.
