Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  2. Spread the uncooked rice evenly in the prepared baking dish, then top with the chicken pieces and scatter the frozen broccoli.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the cream of chicken soup, condensed cheddar cheese soup, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.
Baking
  1. Pour the creamy soup mixture over the chicken, rice, and broccoli in the baking dish and gently stir to ensure the rice is submerged.
  2. Cover the baking dish tightly with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  3. Carefully remove the foil, stir well, then re-cover and bake for another 20-30 minutes, or until the rice is tender and chicken is cooked to 165°F (74°C).
Serving
  1. Remove from the oven and let stand, covered, for 5-10 minutes, then fluff with a fork before serving.

Notes

For an extra creamy result, you can add a splash of heavy cream with the milk. If you prefer a milder flavor, reduce the garlic and onion powder to 1/2 teaspoon each. Serving suggestions: A simple green salad or crusty bread would complement this dish beautifully.
