Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) as directed by the puff pastry package.
- Lightly flour a clean surface and roll out the puff pastry sheet until it is slightly thinner.
- Cut the rolled-out puff pastry into 2-inch by 2-inch squares using a sharp knife or pizza cutter.
Assembly and Baking
- Gently press each puff pastry square into the cups of a mini muffin tin.
- Place one cube of Brie cheese in the center of each puff pastry square.
- Top the Brie cheese with a few thin slices of fresh strawberry.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the puff pastry is golden brown and the Brie cheese is melted and bubbly.
Finishing Touches
- Carefully remove the baked bites from the muffin tin and allow them to cool slightly on a wire rack.
- If desired, drizzle with honey or maple syrup just before serving warm.
Notes
These bites can be prepared a few hours in advance and baked just before serving. For a sweet and savory twist, try adding a sprinkle of fresh thyme to the brie and strawberries before baking.
