Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a large bowl.
  2. In the bowl, toss the trimmed green beans with olive oil, minced garlic, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper until they are evenly coated.
  3. Spread the seasoned green beans in a single layer on a baking sheet, using two sheets if needed to prevent overcrowding.
Cooking
  1. Roast the green beans for 12-18 minutes, or until they are tender-crisp and slightly blistered, making sure to stir them halfway through the cooking time.
Serving
  1. Serve the roasted green beans immediately, adding a squeeze of fresh lemon juice if desired.

Notes

For extra flavor, you can add a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese after roasting. Adjust red pepper flakes to your preferred spice level.
