Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper.
Cooking
- Arrange the trimmed asparagus on one side of the baking sheet, then drizzle with 1/2 tbsp olive oil, and season with a pinch of salt and pepper before tossing to coat.
- Pat the salmon fillets dry and place them on the other side of the baking sheet, followed by drizzling them with the remaining 1/2 tbsp olive oil.
- In a small bowl, combine the minced garlic, dried dill, 1/2 tsp salt, and 1/4 tsp black pepper, then sprinkle this mixture evenly over the salmon fillets.
- Place the lemon slices on top of the salmon fillets.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is fully cooked and flakes easily with a fork, and the asparagus is tender-crisp.
Serving
- Before serving, squeeze fresh lemon juice over both the cooked salmon and asparagus.
Notes
For extra flavor, you can marinate the salmon in the lemon-herb mixture for 15-20 minutes before baking. Adjust baking time based on the thickness of your salmon fillets.
