Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, combine steak with 2 tbsp olive oil, 1 tsp garlic powder, ½ tsp onion powder, ½ tsp smoked paprika, ¼ tsp black pepper, and ½ tsp salt; toss to coat evenly.
- In a separate bowl, toss asparagus with 1 tbsp olive oil, ½ tsp garlic powder, a pinch of salt, and a pinch of black pepper.
Cooking
- Spread the seasoned steak and asparagus in a single layer on separate halves of the prepared baking sheet, ensuring neither is overcrowded.
- Roast for 10-15 minutes, or until steak reaches the desired doneness and asparagus is tender-crisp. Gently shake the pan or flip steak bites halfway through cooking.
Serving
- Remove from oven, garnish with fresh chopped parsley if desired, and serve immediately.
