Ingredients
  

Taco Shells
  • 12-18 soft or hard taco shells
Pizza Sauce
  • 1 cup marinara or pizza sauce
Mozzarella Cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
Pepperoni
  • 1/2 cup mini pepperonis or regular pepperoni slices, quartered
Cooked Sausage
  • 1/2 cup cooked and crumbled Italian sausage
Bacon Bits
  • 1/4 cup real bacon bits
Parmesan Cheese
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
Italian Seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Optional Toppings
  • Diced bell peppers, onions, black olives, mushrooms, red pepper flakes, fresh basil

Method
 

Preheat Oven & Prep Shells
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and arrange taco shells on a baking sheet. Warm soft shells in the microwave for 15-20 seconds if needed for pliability.
Assemble the Base
  1. Spoon 1-2 tablespoons of pizza sauce into the bottom of each taco shell.
Layer the Cheese
  1. Sprinkle a generous layer of shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce in each shell.
Add the Meats
  1. Distribute mini pepperonis, crumbled sausage, and bacon bits evenly among the taco shells, placing them atop the cheese.
Season & Bake
  1. Sprinkle remaining mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese over the meat toppings, then finish with a light dusting of Italian seasoning.
Bake to Perfection
  1. Bake for 8-12 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and melted and the taco shells are slightly crispy or warmed through.
Garnish & Serve
  1. Carefully remove from the oven and garnish with fresh basil or red pepper flakes if desired. Serve immediately.

Notes

For extra flavor, lightly toast the taco shells before assembling. If using regular pepperoni, quartering them ensures better distribution and easier eating. Feel free to customize with your favorite pizza toppings!
