Preheat Oven & Prep Shells
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and arrange taco shells on a baking sheet. Warm soft shells in the microwave for 15-20 seconds if needed for pliability.
Assemble the Base
- Spoon 1-2 tablespoons of pizza sauce into the bottom of each taco shell.
Layer the Cheese
- Sprinkle a generous layer of shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce in each shell.
Add the Meats
- Distribute mini pepperonis, crumbled sausage, and bacon bits evenly among the taco shells, placing them atop the cheese.
Season & Bake
- Sprinkle remaining mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese over the meat toppings, then finish with a light dusting of Italian seasoning.
Bake to Perfection
- Bake for 8-12 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and melted and the taco shells are slightly crispy or warmed through.
Garnish & Serve
- Carefully remove from the oven and garnish with fresh basil or red pepper flakes if desired. Serve immediately.
Notes
