Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 package (approx. 16-17 oz or 500g) shelf-stable or refrigerated potato gnocchi
  • 1-2 tablespoons olive oil or avocado oil
Seasoning
  • 1 tsp dried parsley
  • 1/2 tsp dried dill
  • 1/4 tsp lemon pepper seasoning
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice added after air frying

Equipment

  • Medium bowl
  • Air fryer

Method

Instructions
  1. In a medium bowl, combine the uncooked gnocchi with the olive oil, tossing gently until all gnocchi are lightly coated.
  2. Add the dried parsley, dried dill, and lemon pepper seasoning to the gnocchi and toss again until evenly seasoned, reserving the fresh lemon juice for later.
  3. If your air fryer has a preheat function, preheat it to 375°F (190°C) for 3-5 minutes.
  4. Place the seasoned gnocchi in a single layer in your air fryer basket, ensuring not to overcrowd it; cook in 2-3 batches if necessary.
  5. Air fry for 12-18 minutes, shaking the basket every 4-5 minutes, until the gnocchi are golden brown, puffed, and wonderfully crispy.
  6. Once cooked, transfer the crispy gnocchi to a serving bowl, toss with fresh lemon juice, and serve immediately.

Notes

For extra crispiness, ensure the gnocchi are not wet before tossing with oil. You can adjust the amount of lemon pepper seasoning to your taste.
