Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a small baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Unwrap the brie and lightly score the top rind in a crisscross pattern, being careful not to cut too deeply.
- Place the brie on the baking sheet, then spoon fig jam evenly over the scored top and drizzle with honey or maple syrup.
- Sprinkle the chopped pecans or walnuts over the fig jam and honey.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until the brie is soft and gooey, and the jam is bubbling.
- Optionally, tuck fresh rosemary sprigs around the edges after removing from the oven.
- Transfer the baked brie to a serving platter and serve immediately with crackers, crostini, or fruit slices.
Notes
For best results, use a high-quality double or triple cream brie. You can customize the nuts with other varieties or add a pinch of cinnamon for extra flavor.
