  • 2-3 Large, fresh eggs
  • 2-3 slices Bacon
  • 2 Sausage links/patties
  • 1 Russet or Yukon Gold potatoes for hash browns or home fries (or pre-made hash browns)
  • 1-2 slices Sourdough or whole wheat bread
  • Butter for toast
  • 1/4 cup Baked beans or sautéed mushrooms Optional
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Olive oil or cooking spray for potatoes and eggs

Method
 

Cooking Steps
  1. Prepare your potatoes by grating or dicing them for hash browns or home fries, then pat them dry.
  2. Heat a skillet with olive oil over medium-high heat, then cook the potatoes until golden and crispy; season with salt and pepper.
  3. While potatoes cook, prepare your preferred meat: cook bacon until crispy in a cold skillet or cook sausage according to package directions.
  4. Cook 2-3 eggs in the same skillet (or a separate pan) to your desired doneness and season with salt and pepper.
  5. While eggs cook, toast 1-2 slices of bread until golden and butter generously.
  6. If desired, warm baked beans in a saucepan or microwave, or quickly sauté mushrooms in butter or oil.
  7. Assemble your plate with the cooked eggs, meat, potatoes, and buttered toast, adding optional beans or mushrooms.
  8. Serve immediately and enjoy your hearty breakfast.

Notes

Adjust cooking times and seasoning to your personal preference. For crispier hash browns, avoid overcrowding the pan.
