Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1.5 lbs Salmon Fillets skin on or off
  • 4 tablespoons Unsalted Butter
  • 4-5 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 large Lemon for juice and slices
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Parsley or Dill, chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • Freshly Ground Black Pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil

Equipment

  • Large oven-safe skillet
  • Paper towels

Method

Cooking
  1. Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels and season both sides generously with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Sear salmon skin-side down for 4-5 minutes until crispy.
  3. Flip salmon, reduce heat to medium, add butter and minced garlic to the skillet, and sauté for 30 seconds.
  4. Continuously spoon the garlic butter over the salmon for 3-5 minutes until cooked through.
  5. Remove from heat, squeeze fresh lemon juice over the salmon, and sprinkle with chopped parsley or dill. Serve immediately.

Notes

For extra flavor, you can marinate the salmon in lemon juice and herbs for 15-20 minutes before cooking. Adjust cooking time based on the thickness of your salmon fillets.
