  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh chives finely chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a medium bowl, combine softened cream cheese, dried cranberries, parsley, chives, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth and well incorporated.
  2. Spoon out roughly 1 tablespoon of the mixture and roll into bite-sized balls.
  3. Place finely chopped pecans in a shallow dish, then roll each cheese ball in the nuts, pressing gently to coat evenly.
  4. Arrange coated cheese bites on a parchment-lined plate or baking sheet. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or until firm.
  5. Serve chilled with your choice of crackers or pretzel thins.

Notes

For an extra festive touch, use a mix of green herbs like dill or rosemary for the coating. These cheese bites can be made a day ahead and stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
