Cooking Steps
- Peel and devein the shrimp, then rinse and pat them very dry. Season lightly with salt and pepper for a good sear.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat, then add minced garlic and red pepper flakes. Sauté for 30-60 seconds until fragrant, being careful not to burn the garlic.
- Add shrimp to the skillet in a single layer and cook for 1-2 minutes per side until pink and opaque. Avoid overcrowding and overcooking the shrimp.
- Pour in white wine or chicken broth and simmer for 30 seconds, scraping up any browned bits for added flavor.
- Remove from heat, stir in butter until melted, then squeeze in lemon juice and toss gently to coat the shrimp. Adjust seasoning as needed.
- Transfer to a serving dish, sprinkle with chopped parsley, and serve immediately.

Serving Suggestion: This garlic shrimp is excellent served over pasta, rice, or with crusty bread to soak up the delicious sauce. A simple green salad makes a great side dish.
