  • 1 packet (1 ounce) dry ranch seasoning mix
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter cut into small pieces

Preparation
  1. Lightly grease the inside of your slow cooker or use a slow cooker liner.
  2. Place the chicken breasts in a single layer at the bottom of the crockpot.
  3. Evenly sprinkle the entire packet of dry ranch seasoning over the chicken breasts.
  4. Pour the chicken broth or water around the chicken, then dot the top with small pieces of butter.
Cooking
  1. Cover and cook on HIGH for 2-3 hours or on LOW for 4-6 hours, until the chicken is cooked through and easily shreds.
  2. Once cooked, shred the chicken directly in the crockpot with two forks, mixing it with the delicious juices and sauce.
