  • 20-25 Oreos (or similar chocolate sandwich cookies), crushed
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 8 ounces whipped topping (like Cool Whip), thawed
  • 1/4 cup milk (any kind)

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Crush the Oreos into fine crumbs with a few larger pieces using a zip-top bag and rolling pin or a food processor; set aside.
  2. Beat softened cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth, then add powdered sugar and vanilla extract and beat until fluffy.
  3. Gently fold in the thawed whipped topping until combined, then stir in milk until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  4. Spoon approximately 1-2 tablespoons of crushed cookies into the bottom of each serving cup.
  5. Top the cookie layer with a generous scoop of the cream cheese filling.
  6. Add another layer of crushed cookies, followed by more cream filling, and finish with the remaining crushed cookies as a garnish.
  7. Cover the dessert cups and refrigerate for a minimum of 2-4 hours, or ideally overnight, to allow them to set and flavors to meld.

Notes

For best results, make sure your cream cheese is fully softened at room temperature. You can experiment with different types of chocolate sandwich cookies for varied flavor profiles. These dessert cups are perfect for parties and can be made ahead of time!
