- Combine all ingredients, including drained chickpeas, plant milk, nutritional yeast, lemon juice, garlic, olive oil, Dijon mustard, onion powder, smoked paprika (if using), and a pinch of salt and pepper in a high-speed blender or food processor.
- Blend until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed to ensure everything is incorporated.
- Taste the sauce and adjust seasonings; add more salt, pepper, or lemon juice as desired, and thin with additional plant milk if a less thick consistency is preferred.
Notes
This versatile sauce is excellent as a dip, spread, or as a creamy addition to pasta dishes and bowls. For a thinner consistency, incrementally add more plant milk until desired texture is achieved.
