Preparation
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Brown ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat, breaking it apart, then drain excess fat.
Cooking
- Stir in taco seasoning and water, simmer for 5-7 minutes until liquid is absorbed, then remove from heat and stir in ranch dressing.
- Unroll crescent roll dough, press seams to form a rectangle, and spread meat mixture evenly, leaving a 1/2-inch border.
- Sprinkle cheese over the meat, roll the dough tightly from a long side, and slice into 1-inch pinwheels.
- Arrange pinwheels on the baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
Serving
- Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving with optional toppings.
Notes
For extra flavor, you can add a pinch of chili powder or smoked paprika to the ground beef mixture along with the taco seasoning.
