Glaze
  • 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Pinch garlic powder optional
  • Pinch onion powder optional

Preparation
  1. In a small bowl, combine the brown sugar, ketchup, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, and Worcestershire sauce.
  2. Optionally, add a pinch of garlic powder and onion powder for extra flavor.
  3. Whisk all ingredients thoroughly until well combined and the brown sugar has dissolved.
  4. Apply the glaze generously over your meatloaf during the last 15-20 minutes of baking to create a sticky, flavorful crust.
  5. For an even thicker, more caramelized crust, apply a second layer of glaze about 5-7 minutes after the first.

Notes

This glaze is versatile and can be used on other roasted meats as well. Adjust the garlic and onion powder to your taste preferences.
