  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp dried Italian seasoning
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • fresh parsley or chives for garnish

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Place chicken breasts in the slow cooker and sprinkle with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and Italian seasoning.
  2. Pour chicken broth over the seasoned chicken.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours until easily shreddable.
  4. Remove cooked chicken and shred it on a cutting board using two forks.
  5. Return shredded chicken to the slow cooker with the liquid, tossing to coat and keep it moist.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley or chives before serving, if desired.
