  • 1 lb (≈450 g) Large raw shrimp, peeled & deveined
  • 12 oz (340 g) Linguine
  • 3 Tbsp Unsalted butter
  • 2 Tbsp Extra-virgin olive oil
  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced
  • ½ cup Dry white wine
  • ¼ cup Fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp Lemon zest
  • ¼ tsp Red pepper flakes optional
  • 2 Tbsp Fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 1 Tbsp Fresh basil, torn
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • Salt & freshly cracked black pepper to taste
  • 1 cup Pasta cooking water reserved

Preparation
  1. Pat the shrimp dry with paper towels, then season both sides with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if you are using them.

Notes

Remember to reserve some pasta cooking water before draining, as it will help create a silky smooth sauce. Adjust red pepper flakes to your preferred spice level.
