  • 1 lb (450 g) Fresh asparagus ends trimmed and cut into 2-inch pieces
  • 3 Tbsp Unsalted butter
  • 2 Tbsp Extra-virgin olive oil
  • 4 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 tsp Red-pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 large Lemon zest of
  • 2 Tbsp Fresh lemon juice
  • ¼ tsp Sea salt or to taste
  • ¼ tsp Freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 Tbsp Fresh parsley chopped
  • 1 Tbsp Parmesan cheese grated (optional)
