  • 4-6 large flour tortillas, soft and pliable
  • 1 head romaine lettuce, washed, dried, and chopped
  • ½ cup Caesar dressing, your favorite store-bought or homemade
  • ¼ cup Parmesan cheese, grated or shaved
  • ½ cup croutons, crushed optional
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Fresh lemon juice a squeeze (optional)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Cook chicken entirely and shred or dice into uniform pieces; allow to cool slightly.
  2. Wash and dry romaine lettuce thoroughly, then chop into bite-sized pieces.
  3. Combine chopped romaine with half of the Caesar dressing in a medium bowl and toss gently.
Assembly
  1. Lay a tortilla flat and spoon an even layer of dressed romaine down the center, leaving space at the edges.
  2. Distribute cooked chicken over the lettuce, then sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and a pinch of black pepper, and crushed croutons if desired.
  3. Drizzle more Caesar dressing over the chicken and toppings if preferred.
  4. Fold in the sides of the tortilla, then tightly roll it up from the bottom edge.
Serving
  1. Slice the wraps in half diagonally for easy handling and an appealing presentation. Serve immediately.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in a little lemon juice and herbs before cooking. You can also add other vegetables like diced tomatoes or cucumbers for more crunch and freshness.
