Cooking Steps
  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add ground beef to the skillet, break it apart, and cook until fully browned (5-7 minutes).
  3. Drain any excess fat from the skillet.
  4. Add chopped onion and cook until softened (3-4 minutes), then stir in minced garlic for one more minute until fragrant.
  5. Pour in diced tomatoes and beef broth, then stir in Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  6. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 5 minutes to combine flavors.
  7. Remove from heat and serve immediately, garnishing with fresh parsley or shredded cheese if desired.
