Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
Assembly
- Unroll one can of crescent roll dough onto the baking sheet, pressing seams to form a solid rectangle.
- Evenly distribute the sliced deli roast beef over the dough, leaving a small border.
- Arrange provolone cheese slices over the roast beef.
- Unroll the second can of crescent roll dough over the cheese, pressing seams and crimping edges to seal.
Baking
- Whisk together melted butter, Worcestershire sauce, onion powder, and garlic powder; brush over the top dough layer.
- Bake for 18-22 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the dough is cooked through.
Au Jus & Serving
- While baking, simmer beef broth in a saucepan; for thicker au jus, whisk cornstarch with cold water and stir into the broth, simmering for one minute.
- After baking, cool for 5 minutes, then slice into squares and serve immediately with the warm au jus for dipping.
Notes
These squares are perfect for an appetizer or a light meal with a side salad. Adjust the amount of garlic and onion powder to your preference.
