  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt or to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper or to taste

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Pat the chicken dry with paper towels.
  2. Place the chicken in the slow cooker and sprinkle with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
Cooking

  2. Cook on low for 3-4 hours or on high for 2-3 hours, until the chicken shreds easily.
Finishing
  1. Shred the cooked chicken directly in the slow cooker with two forks, mixing it with the cooking liquid.
