- Place the chicken breasts or thighs at the bottom of your slow cooker.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the Buffalo sauce, ranch or blue cheese dressing, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and optional melted butter.
- Pour the sauce mixture evenly over the chicken in the slow cooker.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 6-8 hours or on HIGH for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is easily shreddable.
- Once cooked, use two forks to shred the chicken directly in the slow cooker with the sauce and stir until well coated.
Notes
This buffalo chicken is great for sandwiches, salads, quesadillas, or as a topping for baked potatoes.
