This classic crockpot buffalo chicken recipe is incredibly easy to make and perfect for a weeknight meal or game day. Simply combine chicken with buffalo sauce, ranch or blue cheese dressing, and seasonings, then let your slow cooker do all the work.

Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 2-3 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs
  • 1 cup Frank's RedHot Buffalo Wing Sauce
  • 1/2 cup Ranch or Blue Cheese dressing
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt & black pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter Optional

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Place the chicken breasts or thighs at the bottom of your slow cooker.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the Buffalo sauce, ranch or blue cheese dressing, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and optional melted butter.
  3. Pour the sauce mixture evenly over the chicken in the slow cooker.
  4. Cover and cook on LOW for 6-8 hours or on HIGH for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is easily shreddable.
  5. Once cooked, use two forks to shred the chicken directly in the slow cooker with the sauce and stir until well coated.

This buffalo chicken is great for sandwiches, salads, quesadillas, or as a topping for baked potatoes.
