Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 1 cup fresh lime juice from 4-6 regular limes
  • 1 can full-fat coconut milk or coconut cream 13.5 oz / 400ml
  • 1/4 - 1/2 cup granulated sugar or simple syrup adjust to taste
  • 1/2 cup cold water adjust for desired consistency
For Serving & Garnish
  • Ice for serving
  • Lime slices or mint sprigs for garnish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Wash limes and roll them to release juice. Cut in half and extract 1 cup of fresh lime juice, then strain to remove pulp or seeds.
Mixing
  1. Combine the lime juice, coconut milk or cream, desired amount of sugar or simple syrup, and cold water in a blender.
Blending & Adjusting
  1. Blend on high speed for 1-2 minutes until smooth and well-combined. Taste and adjust sweetness or thickness by adding more sweetener or water as needed.
Serving
  1. For best flavor, chill the limeade for at least 30 minutes. Serve over ice in tall glasses, garnished with a lime slice or mint sprig.

Notes

For an extra tropical twist, you can add a splash of pineapple juice to the mix. Adjust the amount of sugar to your personal preference; some limes are more tart than others. This limeade is also delicious with a hint of rum for an adult beverage.
