Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 individual flatbread or pizza dough
  • 4-6 oz Brie cheese thinly sliced or torn
  • 1/2 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1-2 fresh thyme sprigs, leaves removed and chopped
  • 1-2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2-3 prosciutto slices, cooked and crumbled
  • 1-2 tablespoons balsamic glaze for drizzling after baking

Equipment

  • Oven
  • Baking Stone or Steel (optional)

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and place a baking stone or steel in it if using. Lightly brush the flatbread or pizza dough with olive oil.
Assembly
  1. Scatter the thinly sliced or torn brie cheese evenly over the oiled flatbread, leaving a small border for the crust.
  2. Distribute the fresh blueberries over the brie, then generously sprinkle the chopped fresh thyme leaves over the top.
  3. Scatter the cooked and crumbled prosciutto over the cheese.
Baking and Serving
  1. Carefully transfer the flatbread to the preheated oven or baking stone. Bake for 10-15 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the crust is golden brown and crisp.
  2. Once baked, remove the flatbread from the oven and drizzle with balsamic glaze.
  3. Let it cool for a minute or two, then slice into wedges or squares. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

Keep a close watch on the flatbread while baking to prevent it from burning, as oven temperatures can vary. You can substitute bacon bits for prosciutto if preferred.
