Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper
  • 1 refrigerated crescent rolls, biscuit dough, or pizza dough (8 oz) can
  • 6 sharp cheddar cheese slices, cut into quarters
  • 2 tablespoons cooked, crumbled bacon
Garlic Parmesan Ranch Topping
  • 0.25 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 garlic, minced cloves
  • 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp ranch seasoning powder
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Equipment

  • Large skillet
  • Small bowl
  • Baking sheet
  • Parchment paper

Method

Bacon Cheddar Ranch Cheeseburger Bombs
  1. Cook ground beef in a skillet, breaking it apart until browned, then drain excess grease and stir in onion powder, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and crumbled bacon. Set aside to cool.
  2. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Unroll crescent roll dough, separating into triangles, or flatten biscuit dough/cut pizza dough into squares.
  3. Place a small spoonful of the beef and bacon mixture onto each dough piece, then top with a quarter slice of sharp cheddar cheese.
  4. Carefully fold the dough over the filling, pinching the edges to seal and form a ball, ensuring no gaps for the cheese to escape.
  5. Melt butter in a small bowl, then stir in minced garlic, grated Parmesan cheese, and ranch seasoning powder.
  6. Arrange the sealed bombs seam-side down on a parchment-lined baking sheet and brush generously with the garlic Parmesan ranch butter.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes, until golden brown and puffed, and cheese is melted and bubbling.
  8. Remove from the oven and, if desired, sprinkle with fresh chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, you can add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the beef mixture. If you don't have crescent rolls, biscuit dough or pizza dough can be used as a substitute. Ensure the dough is well-sealed to prevent cheese from leaking during baking. These bombs are delicious served with a side of ranch dressing for dipping!
